In a Havaianas advertisement made for the turn of 2025 to 2026, the phrase “I’m sorry, but I don’t want you to start 2026 off on the right foot” it was interpreted by right-wing voters as a political provocation. In reaction, the group branded it on social media.

The company from Espírito Santo says it represents family, faith, work and love for the country. Nikolas Ferreira is presented as the brand ambassador.
