After a long health break, the presenter Zlatica Švajdová Puškárová (48) returned to television screens with her own original project. A reportage series called Golden talents with Zlatica started in the summer of 2024 and since then has been a stable part of the Saturday editions of the main news program Televízne noviny.
The experienced journalist has been traveling throughout Slovakia for almost two years and presents talented people who deserve media attention to viewers in an unconventional way. During that time, she introduced dozens of clever Slovaks to her compatriots, who are not lost in the world, but now she may need your help. She posted a clear challenge on her.
“Many smart people, not just young people, are coming home to Slovakia from abroad for the summer. I will be happy to show your skills, abilities and talent to the whole of Slovakia through Televízne noviny. Thank you for the huge support and feedback that you show Zlatý talent with Zlatica in various forms,” she wrote on Tuesday on the social network. PHOTO can be found in the gallery!
It didn’t take long and many people responded to the initiative, for which she thanked them. “Incredible response. In less than two hours, you sent me more than a dozen interesting proposals. Write, send, we are here for you,” added the favorite face of TV Markíza.
Švajdová Puškárová hosted many historical events in the past, especially those related to the British royal family. She addressed the audience on the day of royal weddings, funerals, births and the coronation of King Charles III. The last time she accompanied TV Markíza viewers in this role was during the funeral of Pope Francis.
In addition to her working life, she also thrives in her private life. Puškárová and her husband Patrik Švajda are proud of their older son Leonard, who is growing into a hockey star. The talented teenager got an opportunity in a hockey club in Sweden. Leo immediately started building his name in strong competition. This is also confirmed by his results, which he brags about on Instagram from time to time.
