A video made with AI (artificial intelligence) that shows the former first lady (PL) kissing Minister Alexandre de Moraes on the mouth went viral on social media this Wednesday (May 13, 2026).
The image was produced with generative AI tools and was based on a photo taken at the presidency of the (Superior Electoral Court), on Tuesday (May 12). The real photograph shows Michelle greeting Moraes with a kiss on the cheek.
The montage was shared by profiles from different political camps and reignited the discussion about the use of artificial intelligence to produce false content from public authorities.
The TSE has treated the use of AI and the dissemination of manipulated content as one of the main challenges for the 2026 elections. Upon taking office as president of the Electoral Court, Nunes Marques must respect freedom of expression and the Court’s institutional neutrality.
