The Prerrogativas Group is analyzing what legal measures it should adopt in the coming days, in an offensive against the film that tells the story of former president Jair Bolsonaro.
The group mainly wants to know the flow of money that would finance the feature film “Dark Horse”. According to investigations, more than R$60 million were paid by , but the producer denies that he financed the film.
The objective is to “follow the money” and discover where the resources ended up and how they were actually used. The PF (Federal Police) is investigating whether the money linked to was used for (-SP), who has lived in the United States since the beginning of last year.
Prerogativas wants to demand accountability from others involved in the film to investigate possible money laundering, misappropriation of resources or even misappropriation.
“Flávio was the only one who managed to deceive a banker who had already deceived thousands of people. He deserves an Oscar”, said the coordinator of Prerogativas, Marco Aurélio Carvalho.
The group says that the objective of the Bolsonarists is to use the film as an electoral asset. The film is scheduled to premiere in September, a few days before the elections. The decision will be made by Lula’s campaign, but asking for accountability for abuse of political and economic power cannot be ruled out.
“Who doesn’t guarantee, for example, that these resources were used to irrigate fake news? That’s a militia thing,” said Carvalho.
