Rome/Male – According to information from Rome, five Italian nationals died in a diving accident in the Maldives. They wanted to explore caves around 50 meters deep in the Vaavua Atoll, as the Italian Foreign Ministry announced. Initially there were no details about how the accident happened. Authorities in the Maldives have launched investigations, it said.
