What has happened so far: The Polish developer Pawel Jarczak has published a slicer (this software breaks down a 3D model into commands for the printer) with which users can again directly control 3D printers from the manufacturer Bambu Lab. Bambu stopped this possibility a year ago and introduced a function called “Authorization Control” via firmware updates. This required our own, proprietary software (Bambu Connect) in order to be able to conveniently control the devices remotely again.
