On a visit to the Hospital do Amor, in Barretos, in the interior of São Paulo, the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) made mention of the scandal involving Banco Master. According to the PT member, the hospital does not have the money from Daniel Vorcaro, former owner of the bank.
“This country needs to become human again. Hatred needs to be eradicated. Here, in this hospital here, there is no money from Vorcaro“, declared the Chief Executive this Friday (15), during a delivery event carried out by the SUS (Unified Health System) at Hospital do Amor.
Lula’s speech comes two days after information was made public that Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), pre-candidate and until now his biggest opponent in the presidential race, to make a biographical film about his father, former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
The statement came after the PT member once again criticized the . The president said that technology should not just be banned in the days surrounding the election, but throughout the dispute.
“We need to be careful, because there are a lot of people lying in this country”, he highlighted.
During his speech, Lula also mentioned the INSS (National Social Security Institute) scandal. The institute was the target of a scheme that diverted transfers of benefits paid to retirees and pensioners.
The president said that the president of Hospital do Amor, Henrique Prata, once gave him a horse, but that he had nowhere to put the animal: “I said: ‘Take care of my horse’. My horse is retired. I’m afraid that my horse, which was retired, was stolen by this gang that stole retirees”, he joked.

Since the case came to light, Flávio had been speaking out for the investigation of “everyone” who had possible involvement with Vorcaro. Until now, the strategy used by the senator was to connect the Master case to the Lula government.
Visit to the Hospital of Love
Lula visited the Hospital de Amor, in Barretos, in São Paulo, this Friday (15). The president was accompanied by the first lady, Janja Lula da Silva; the vice-president, Geraldo Alckmin; and the Minister of Health, Alexandre Padilha.
At the event, Lula announced deliveries made by the SUS (Unified Health System) to expand the population’s access to cancer treatments.
According to the federal government, the initiative involved an investment of R$2.2 billion. Among the main innovations are the creation of a new SUS financing table for the supply of 23 high-cost oncology medications and the financing of robotic oncology surgeries in the public network, in addition to expanding access to breast reconstruction surgery.
