Vienna – The social partners were unable to agree on a new collective agreement for the approximately 50,000 employees in the chemical industry in the 6th round of negotiations. After the employer’s offer of a one-off payment of 250 euros was not increased for the third time, a two-hour warning strike was called for from May 26th to June 1st, the GPA and Pro-Ge unions announced on Thursday evening. The next KV round will take place on June 2nd.
