Carolina Pinto used her Instagram account on the afternoon of Thursday, May 21, to comment on the comments she frequently receives about her body.
The digital influencer shared a video and showed her indignation at how easy it is for some women to criticize other people’s bodies.
“I was looking at the messages I have from you and other people who follow me for who knows why, and my question is: “When will women stop commenting on other women’s bodies?” It’s a question I would like to understand.”he began by saying.
Carolina Pinto, who admitted that she did not have the courage to do this to other women, then left a warning for those who have this type of attitude: “(…) These people are either frustrated with their own lives or… What I feel is that people will always have something to say, if you’re fat it’s because you’re fat; if you have cellulite it’s because you have cellulite; if you’re thin it’s because you’re thin (…). Hey, mind your own business!”he stated.
After considering that she had never seen “any man doing this” and that “men, in these issues, are much further ahead”, Carolina Pinto regretted the comparisons made between women.
In the end, and after highlighting the weight of these words for some people, the businesswoman left an appeal: “Let’s have a little more emotional responsibility about what we say to others, about the way we talk to others (…)”.
