Mom took a picture of her daughter before going to bed: When she saw THIS detail, they immediately ran to the doctor!

One simple photo before bed changed the life of the whole family. Mom Danielle Foggin noticed a strange detail while looking at a photo of her 14-month-old daughter, Amelia. She had an unusual white glow in one eye. It was he who turned out to be a symptom of a serious illness, reports a British newspaper

Danielle admitted that even looking at her daughter, she had a strange feeling that something was wrong. “I couldn’t tell exactly what was strange, but she looked different than usual,” she said. When she got a better look at this detail, she decided to look for information on the Internet. She found that a white sheen in the eye can be a sign of retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer that mainly affects young children.

The next day, she therefore did not hesitate and took her daughter to the doctor. The situation developed very quickly. They were first sent to a hospital in North Yorkshire and then to a children’s hospital in Birmingham, where doctors confirmed the cruel diagnosis. Amelia had advanced retinoblastoma stage.

“I only asked the doctor one thing – is my daughter going to die?” Danielle admitted. However, the doctors reassured her that the cancer was caught early and is treatable. Fortunately, examinations showed that the disease had not spread outside the eye. In order to save Amelia’s life, the doctors had to remove her affected eye. It was a huge shock for the parents, especially since they had just got married a few weeks before.

However, according to her mother, little Amelia handled everything very bravely. Since she could no longer see in the affected eye before the operation, she was not even aware of the big change. After the operation and other procedures, good news came. Amelia beat cancer. A two-year-old girl loves horses, dogs, outdoor games and lives a happy life.

Danielle is now warning other parents to trust their intuition. According to her, they should notice even the smallest changes, because they can save a life. Symptoms of retinoblastoma include a white sheen in the eye in photographs, eyes looking in different directions, redness of the eye, or unusual eye movements. It is a very rare type of cancer that affects around 30 children a year in Britain.
