Meet Joana Camargo, Miss Brazil who fell on stage in Egypt

The model from Rio Grande do Sul Joana Camargo29, represented Brazil in the Miss Eco International 2026which took place in Egypt this Friday (22). The young woman came in 5th place in the competition, but what caught the public’s attention was an unexpected fact.

When she took the stage for the awards ceremony, she fell to the floor during the live broadcast of the event. The fall happened exactly at the moment when Joana’s placement would be announced.

The competition focused on the topics. The title of Miss Eco International 2026 went to Mexican Palmira Ruiz, while Mishel Shotropa, from Ukraine, and Adriana Gravador, from Australia, completed the Top 3. Fourth place went to Indonesian Nickyta Aurellia.
