Munich/Berlin/San Francisco – The German food delivery company Delivery Hero has confirmed a takeover offer from US rival Uber. The offer values the company at 33 euros per share, Delivery Hero announced on Saturday. In a mandatory announcement at the beginning of the week, Uber stated that it “currently (…) does not intend to acquire 30 percent or more of the voting rights” of the company, which competes with its own delivery service “Uber Eats”.
