Meteorologists warn of a stormy June: Tropical 35s will bring a harsh toll, for which we must prepare!

The beginning of June will bring temporary cooling and single-digit morning temperatures to Central Europe. Then, however, real summer weather will hit, which, according to meteorologists, will bring not only temperatures approaching 35 °C, but also strong and frequent storms, writes the website.

In the first week of June, according to the meteorological models, we will see a noticeable cooling. Although there is no longer a definite threat of frost, morning temperatures may again drop to single digits and morning fog may occasionally occur. As meteorologist Jan Schenk points out, the colder period will not last long.

From mid-June, the forecasts are extremely clear and point to the arrival of a real summer. Hot summer air settles over the whole of Central Europe. Temperature deviations will increase sharply and will range from 2 to 3 degrees above the long-term normal. In practice, this means that maximum daily temperatures can climb up to a tropical 35°C.

High temperatures should maintain their intensity even during July, which will bring with it the opposite side of summer weather. As the heat and humidity increase, the risk of dangerous weather events will increase significantly. “We have to prepare for the fact that with the arrival of even warmer air significantly stronger storms will also arrive, occurring at a much higher frequency. So we have a stormy summer ahead of us,” Schenk warns of risks from extreme weather.
