Pakistan’s ground forces subsequently announced that talks in Tehran over the past 24 hours had yielded encouraging results towards a final agreement. Army Commander Ásim Munír has been in the Iranian capital for talks with local officials in a mediating role since Friday. However, details of the progress achieved or specific points of a possible agreement were not made public.
