In this message, Trump has detailed that the agreement would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a key sea lane whose closure has disrupted global energy markets since the United States and Israel launched war against Iran in February. He has not detailed what other elements the pact would include.
However, the Fars news agency, linked to the Iranian regime, has reported that the agreement would allow Iran to manage the strait and has described Trump’s claim about its reopening as “incompatible with reality.” (Reuters)
