Fuvest creates competition for cover art for 2027 entrance exam guides

Fuvest opens an unprecedented competition to select artistic works to compose the covers of the 2027 Entrance Exam Guides. Three artistic proposals will be chosen, one for each official publication of the entrance exam: Career Guide, Journey Guide and Test Guide.

As Registration begins at 12pm on Monday (25th) and ends on June 19th and must be done through the Candidate Area at . The proposals will be evaluated by a visual arts judging panel and the Foundation’s board of directors. It will be released on July 15th.

The images must be developed by hand, using traditional techniques, such as colored pencils, gouache paint, acrylic paint, oil painting or other visual modalities.

The competition is aimed at people at least 12 years old, Brazilian or foreign, resident in Brazil or not.

Participants will be divided into three age categories: from 12 to 17 years old, responsible for creating the cover of the Journey Guide; from 18 to 22 years old, according to the Evidence Guide; and over 22 years old, according to the Career Guide.

Each of the three selected proposals will receive a prize of R$2 thousand and exemption from the registration fee for the 2027 Entrance Exam. If the winner is under 18 years old, any receipt of the prize will be subject to the express authorization of their parents or legal guardians.

“By inviting students and candidates themselves to create the covers of the FUVEST Guide, we seek to bring this audience even closer to the process and value different forms of creativity and artistic expression”, says the foundation’s executive director, Gustavo Monaco, in a statement sent to CNN.
