China sent three astronauts to the Tiangong space station on Sunday, including one who will stay there for a year. It is the country’s longest manned mission to date. The aim is to investigate the effects of a long-term stay in space on the human body. Meanwhile, Beijing is pushing ahead with its plans for a manned moon landing by 2030.
