La Paz – Riots broke out in Bolivia when the police and military cleared roadblocks. Officers used tear gas against demonstrators blocking streets around the government headquarters in La Paz, the newspaper El Deber reported. Demonstrators hurled stones and fireworks at police and soldiers.
