On Saturday (May 23), the federal derby was also played in the current championship, and the stands of Fribourg’s BCF arena were full of Slovak and Czech flags, various cheering aids and banners. The clear message left a strong response, especially on the satirical site, where Slovaks and Czechs published dozens of comments. “On the ice against each other, together against Fic and Babiš,” added Zdeněk. “The first thing I checked was that there were no diacritics,” Jaro alluded to the recent “langoustine case”.
In the end, the Slovak hockey representatives lost to the Czech Republic 2:3 in his fifth match in the basic B-group at the World Cup in Switzerland. The Slovak team’s goals were scored by Marek Hrivík and Martin Chromiak.
