Marco Costa was one of the many Sporting Clube de Portugal fans to be present at the Estádio Nacional do Jamor, on the afternoon of this Sunday, May 24th, where the Portuguese Cup final took place.
After the match ended, which culminated in a 2-1 victory for Sport Clube União Torreense, the confectioner decided to speak out.
In addition to congratulating the rival club, Marco Costa also left a message for his team’s fans: “Football is like life, when there is no hunger, there is no success! Congratulations Torreense, you deserve it!”started by writing.
And then he ended with a reflection: “And to my Sportinguista friends… They are no more Sportinguistas than me! But we should be ashamed, we should give a beating, we don’t respect the opponent… It happens! It’s Sporting winning and losing! But today we are not the ones to be congratulated”.
