Storms, wind or high temperatures may occur in some parts of Slovakia on Wednesday. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) drew attention to this on its website. He issued a level one warning for all phenomena.

The wind can torment most districts of the Košice region. The first level warning is valid there from 16:00 to 20:00. It can also appear in the mountains, namely in the districts of Banská Bystrica, Brezno, Poprad, Liptovský Mikuláš, Ružomberok and Tvrdošín. The warning is valid there from 5:00 p.m. until the end of the day.
Storms may appear in eastern and central Slovakia. The warning of the first degree is valid from 14.00 to 18.00 h for the entire Prešovský and Košice regions and for the districts of Brezno, Revúca, Rimavská Sobota, Dolný Kubín, Liptovský Mikuláš, Námestovo, Ružomberok and Tvrdošín.
High temperatures can affect the entire Bratislava Region, most districts of the Trnava and Nitra Regions and the districts of Krupina, Lučenec, Rimavská Sobota and Veľký Krtíš. The warning is valid there from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
