Kiev launched a large-scale drone and missile attack on a key Russian naval base in Sevastopol. Occupied Crimea was also hit by Franco-British Storm Shadow missiles, which damaged the building of the National Bank and a residential building.
On Wednesday night, Ukraine attacked the city of Sevastopol on the Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula. Air defense managed to shoot down 20 Ukrainian drones, and the local governor claims that Kyiv also used Storm Shadow missiles in the attack. TASR writes about it according to the Reuters agency.

Ukraine used Storm Shadow missiles
According to Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev, no one was injured in the attack. However, several buildings were damaged, including a regional branch of the national bank and an eight-story residential building.
Storm Shadow missiles are produced by a French-British consortium, and they have been in Ukraine’s arsenal since 2023. Moscow has already summoned the British and French ambassadors several times in the past after their use by the Ukrainian army.
Attacks on the port city of Taganrog
At night, Ukraine also attacked the port city of Taganrog in the Sea of Azov near the Ukrainian border, where two people were injured. In total, according to the Ministry of Defense, Russia shot down 140 Ukrainian drones.
Russia also carried out several night attacks. 21 injured were reported from Ukraine’s Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions.
