The increased risk of fires has been in effect since Tuesday (May 26) in 17 districts. The Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) reported on this on the website of the Ministry of the Interior. These are the districts of Senica, Bratislava, Dunajská Streda, Komárno, Nové Zámky, Levice, Veľký Krtíš, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Bánovce nad Bebravou, Partizánske, Prievidza, Bytča, Žilina, Kysucké Nové Mesto, Čadca, Revúca and the Košice area.
In times of increased danger of fire, everyone is obliged to follow the principles of fire safety. In particular, it is forbidden to use an open flame, to burn vegetation, bushes and trees, or to start a fire in areas or places where it can spread.
