Senator and presidential candidate praises Eduardo Bolsonaro and says his brother is “fighting for freedom”
The senator (PL) asked supporters, on Tuesday (May 26, 2026), to act on social media and make a “daily battle” against PT. Pre-candidate for Planalto, Flávio praised (PL-SP) and said that his brother “continue fighting for freedom” from Brazil, even from a distance. The statements were made in a video recorded in the United States alongside the former federal deputy and other allies.
Flávio linked engagement on the networks to the political dispute of 2026. “We need each one of you engaged on social media, doing this daily battle, also in the virtual environment, talking at home, on the street, at work. This is how we raise awareness among Brazilians so that we don’t run the risk of having another 4 years of PT in Brazil”he declared in the video.
The senator stated that a new PT victory would be “disastrous” for the country. “It would be irreparable damage for a few decades in our country. But, God is in control, let’s rescue this Brazil. Come with us!”these.
The recording was made after Flávio met the President of the USA, (Republican Party), in the Oval Office of the White House, in Washington, on Tuesday (May 26). The meeting was outside the Republican’s official agenda and was closed to the press. The senator was accompanied by Eduardo and journalist Paulo Figueiredo.
“Eduardo gathered a troop here to also deal with the future of Brazil. It shows that he continues to fight for our country’s freedom, even from a distance, suffering the consequences”declared the senator. According to Flávio, the objective is “normalize” Brazil, “return to democracy” and make institutions function in a way that “harmonica”.
In the video, the congressman stated that the group intends to look “Forward with great responsibility” and mentioned issues such as public security, tax reduction, employment and “freedom of working hours”. He said that his political project is inspired by the government of his father, the former president (PL).
“That’s what we’re going to do in this country. Look forward with a lot of responsibility, with a strong Congress so that we can make the changes that are necessary to combat crime, to reduce taxes, to bring food back to the tables of the Brazilian people, to bring opportunities for jobs that pay well, freedom of working hours, a lot of things to happen in Brazil, inspired by what President Bolsonaro did, which has already worked, but we can do even better”he declared.
One of the central themes of Flávio’s trip to the USA was the attempt to articulate, with the North American government, the classification of the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) and the CV (Comando Vermelho) as terrorist organizations. After the meeting with Trump, the senator made the request directly to the Republican.
The government (PT) is the measure and argues that the classification could open a loophole for foreign interference in Brazil’s internal issues.
