Vienna/Buchs – Due to extensive renovation work, the international rail connection between Feldkirch and Buchs (Canton of St. Gallen) will be closed from June 14th to October 14th. On the approximately 18-kilometer-long, single-track route, bridges and train stations are being replaced and the infrastructure is also being modernized, the ÖBB said on Friday. For the duration of the closure, a replacement bus service will be set up in local transport; there will be diversions and longer journey times in long-distance transport.
