Péter Magyar focused on one topic in particular during the Hungarian election campaign: the fight against corruption. While his opponent, long-term Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who has since been voted out, stirred up sentiment against the EU and Ukraine and accused them of wanting to drag Hungary into a war against Russia, Magyar put his finger on the wounds at home.
