After chemical accident in US packaging factory: all fatalities recovered


Washington – After the chemical accident in a US packaging factory, fears have been confirmed that all nine people still missing have died. A total of eleven people died in the implosion of a chemical tank in Washington state, the authorities announced on Saturday (local time). On Tuesday, the tank ruptured on a Nippon Dynawave Packaging factory site in the small town of Longview. Shortly afterwards, two victims were rescued. Rescue workers had been searching for the missing people in the rubble of the facility throughout the week. The plant belongs to the US subsidiary of the Japanese company Nippon Paper Industries.
