Actress Marina Ruy Barbosa, 30, is no longer part of the cast of the soap opera “Paraíso Perdido”from Globoplay, written by George Moura and Sergio Goldenberg. She was in negotiations to star in the production, but didn’t sign the contract.
According to a note sent to CNN Brazil this Sunday (31) by the team at , the reason for the withdrawal was the lack of compatibility between the recording schedule and the artist’s commitments. Globoplay’s press office also confirmed the information to the report.
Marina’s team said that, to be part of the project, she would have to sign a seven-month exclusive contract with the broadcaster — which was not possible given her schedule.
“Paraíso Perdido” will begin recording in 2027 and will have 40 chapters. The soap opera is an adaptation of the plays “A Mulher Sem Pecado”, “Toda Nudez Will Be Punished”, “Bonitinha, Mas Ordinária” and “Os Sete Gatinhos”, by the writer.
The actress is preparing for the second season of “Tremembé”, on Prime Video. In the new episodes, Giovanna Antonelli plays Dominique Scharf, a criminal who was sentenced to 58 years in prison for robbery, embezzlement, fraud and forgery of documents, among others.
