British actor Owain Rhys Davies, known among other things for his role as Agent Wilson in the series Twin Peaks: The Return, has died at the age of forty-four. His family announced the sad news. According to available information, he died in May.
“It is with great sadness that my father and I announce the passing of my brother Owain. This will come as a great shock to many people. The reach of Owain’s love, friendship and generosity was immense. There are still questions. Owain died suddenly, a natural and peaceful death,” said his brother Rhodri Davies.
The family also thanked the many condolences. “The outpouring of news we’ve received over the last few days has been incredibly moving and shows just how much he has touched the lives of so many people.” it says in the statement.
The Welsh actor also appeared in The OA and Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass during his career. His latest projects Jeff the Killer and La Fantasia are in post-production and are set to be released soon. He also worked on theater stages in London, where he performed, for example, in the productions The Wizard of Oz and Mamma Mia!.
