Peskov reacts to the open letter, sends Zelensky directly to Russia: the Ukrainian president is always welcome in Moscow

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is welcome in Moscow at any time to meet with President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Thursday in response to Zelensky’s open letter, in which he proposes an end to the war, a ceasefire and a personal meeting with Putin. TASR informs about it according to the AFP agency.

“Zelensky can come to Moscow at any time,” state media quoted Peskov. According to him, they have not presented Zelensky’s letter to Putin yet. The Ukrainian president emphasized in the letter that it does not make sense for the negotiations to take place in Kyiv or Moscowas proposed by the Kremlin. He therefore suggested Switzerland, Turkey or the Arab states.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that during the duration of the negotiations it is necessary to conclude and observe a complete ceasefire and suggested the exchange of all prisoners of war and the adoption of measures for the return of civilians and children kidnapped during the war.
