Strike at Quinta das Flores Secondary School (Coimbra)
The strike covers all non-teaching workers in daycare centers and schools. President of FESINAP explains demands.

This Friday’s strike covers operational and technical assistants (who open schools or work in secretariats); all non-teaching workers in daycare centers, schools, charities and institutions with family support activities.
It was called by the National Federation of Independent Unions of Public Administration and Entities with Public Purposes (FESINAP), which also defends the supplement hardship for non-teaching workers who work in specialized education units.
FENISAP also joins the list of associations that are against changes in labor law proposed by the Government.
Mário Rui, president of the federation, details some requirements, na: return of the education assistant technician’s career, risk subsidy for workers who stay with a child with special needs throughout the working day, or full compliance with the collective labor agreement in Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS).
Shortly before 9 am, Mário Rui told the Lusa news agency that participation in the strike was around 50%.
