Folha launches Conecta Copa, a game about the World Cup – 06/07/2026 – Sports

A Sheet Conecta Copa, a game dedicated to the main football tournament in the world, premieres at 4am this Monday (8). The new feature joins the newspaper’s games area, launched in September 2025 to bring together pastimes, reasoning challenges and knowledge tests aimed exclusively at subscribers.

The launch expands the range of options available on the platform, which brings together Crosswords, Sudoku in four levels, The Word, Tiles, Game of 8 Errors and a daily Current Affairs Test based on news.

In Conecta Copa, readers link data from athletes called up for the 2026 World Cup to their names, and the objective is to complete the game with the fewest mistakes and in the shortest time possible: how old are Lamine Yamal and Endrick? What countries do they represent? How many goals have you scored for your national teams?

Conecta Copa will be available until the end of the World Cup and will receive daily updates throughout the tournament. Afterwards, the Conecta competition will continue to air, but with questions related to other subjects.

The World Cup arouses curiosity about countries, athletes, stadiums and other data, and the games show that it is possible to learn and obtain information in a fun and light way. It is also an opportunity to challenge and play with friends, family and co-workers, making the experience even more engaging.

The Conecta Copa tests are prepared by journalist Rafael Capanema, who is also responsible for formulating the quizzes for the Current Affairs Test, which displays news events through questions on different themes and areas, such as politics, economics, culture, sport, technology and science.

Since the creation of the gaming area, Sheet has been offering its subscribers experiences that combine information, entertainment and reasoning challenges in the same space. With Conecta Copa, the newspaper bet on the format to follow one of the most important events on the sporting calendar.
