The Israeli Army claimed this Monday to have detected missile launches from Yemen and Iran against its territory, in the middle of a night in which senior officers of the force have met together with its chief of staff, Eyal Zamir, to direct attacks against Iranian territory. “The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have detected a missile launched from Yemen towards Israeli territory,” its spokesperson reported in a message published on social networks in which it added that the defense systems “are working to intercept the threat.” Shortly afterwards, in the same way, the Israeli Army claimed to have detected “a few moments ago” the launch of “missiles from Iran towards the territory of Israel”, on which the defense systems are “acting to intercept them.” In turn, the uniformed corps has indicated that a preventive alert has been sent directly to the mobile phones of the citizens of the affected areas. “The population is asked to act responsibly and follow the instructions, since these save lives,” the IDF spokesperson stressed, emphasizing that “you must go to the shelters upon receiving the alert and remain there until further notice,” not being able to leave until you receive an “express indication.”
