In Monday’s traffic accident on the R1 expressway in the direction from Žiar nad Hronom to Zvolen near the gas station, one person was slightly injured. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Banská Bystrica, Nikola Žabková.
She specified that she happened on R1 on Monday morning traffic accident involving four passenger cars. “According to preliminary information, it should have been caused by failure of vehicles to brake,” she clarified, saying that the breath tests of the drivers ended with a negative result. Documenting the accident required the closure of this section for two hours, the detour led through the village of Budča.
