Pre-candidate for Planalto associated party with term considered discriminatory and pejorative against the Jewish community
The former governor of Goiás and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, (PSD), stated this Monday (June 8, 2026) that the PT has “jewish” of the population. The statement, considered pejorative and discriminatory against the Jewish community, was made during participation in the program “Newspaper in Focus”on the magazine’s YouTube channel Look.
According to the pre-candidate, the governing party has acted in a way that is harmful to Brazilians by “increasingly impoverishing people, putting people in debt, with violence taking over”.
Caiado also said that the party is “condemning Brazil” and mentioned that there are more than 90 million people in debt in the country. The pre-candidate concluded by stating that there is a crisis in “all segments: economy, services, commerce and industry”.
