Pope Leo XIV celebrates his last act in Madrid this Tuesday, meeting at Ifema with the thousands of volunteers who have participated in the organization of his visit to the capital. He will do so accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, who will later escort the Pontiff to the Barajas airport, where he will fly to Barcelona. In the Catalan city, Prevost is scheduled to be received by the Minister of Finance, Arcadi España, and to give a homily in the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia. At 8:00 p.m., the second Prayer Vigil of this trip will take place, after the one held with the young people on June 6 in the Plaza de Lima. On this occasion, it will take place at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, where he will make a speech.
