A car was filmed traveling the wrong way on Avenida Marginal, in Cascais, during Sunday night, causing moments of great tension among motorists traveling along the road.
The images, which were shared on social media, show the vehicle advancing in the opposite direction to traffic, knocking down the median markers and passing very close to several vehicles that were traveling correctly. In one of the videos, a witness can be heard saying that he would alert the police about the situation.
The incident occurred around 10pm and generated concern among drivers who witnessed the scene. Despite the danger, no injuries or significant material damage were reported.
The Public Security Police have already taken steps to identify and locate the driver, who left the scene after the incident.
