The human rights organization SOS Mitmensch conducted a survey on the topic of naturalization in light of the citizenship reform announced by the government. More than 600 people living in this country without Austrian citizenship who came from 72 different countries took part. The majority of them have lived here for over ten years, 40 percent have lived here for more than 20 years. Almost half of those surveyed have another EU citizenship.
