Bomb agendas would leave the country ungovernable in the coming years, assesses Durigan

O Minister of Finance, Dario Duriganstated this Tuesday (9), in an interview with the UOL portal, that it is important that Congress does not vote on bomb agendas given the current international scenario. According to him, some of the proposals would make the country ungovernable in the coming years.

“At a time when we are experiencing war in Iran, with a new wave of tariffs and unilateral measures from the United States, it is very important that we do not vote on agendas with a large fiscal impact in Congress,” he stated.

According to him, the approval of bomb agendas at this time would give more arguments for people who defend that the Central Bank increases interest rates.

“All these measures that are being processed and would have an impact could make the country ungovernable from the next term onwards”, he declared.

About the end of the 6×1 workday, the minister stated that he is in favor of this agenda because there is injustice in the job marketin which the poorest work more because they had fewer opportunities, and this needs to be resolved.

“There is, from my point of view, an initial lack of justice within the world of work (…) this inequality needs to be addressed, That’s why I’m in favor of ending 6×1″, he added

Finally, the minister ruled out that the Treasury is studying a possible unlinking of social security benefits and minimum wage pensionseven though this is one of the market’s favorite themes.
