This week announced the launch of two new tools based on artificial intelligence aimed at the startup market. The solutions, called AWS Startup Advisor and agentic migration, were developed to help early-stage companies manage cloud infrastructure and migrate applications and data to the AWS environment.
According to the company, the resources are already available globally and were designed to reduce the operational complexity associated with building and scaling digital products.
The idea, with the new tools, is to reduce the time needed for a founder to transform a prototype or MVP into a scalable product that generates recurring revenue.

“Often, the challenge is to build the architecture thinking about the long term. When the business succeeds, it ends up being necessary to review this part, which has a cost. We want to ensure that companies have, from moment 1, an agent that supports them with autonomy”, he explains.

The tools are free and are immediately available when you create an account. “It’s part of the combo of being in the ecosystem”, jokes Karina.
The intelligent assistant was trained based on the experience accumulated by thousands of real AWS solution architects and powered by patterns extracted from billions of interactions from the more than 350,000 startups running on the platform globally.
“The startup area has always had a very strategic space in AWS, firstly because we were born startups, we have a DNA of understanding that businesses need to start small. On this journey in Brazil we found companies like C6, iFood. Furthermore, we understand from Amazon’s strategy () that if we don’t invest early on, we could lose the opportunity to be with a unicorn in the future. But we realized that companies had difficulty scaling. These tools came to help”, says Karina.
AWS Startup Advisor
AWS Startup Advisor works as an assistant integrated into the development environment, offering recommendations related to infrastructure configuration, security, cost control and application architecture. According to the company, the resource can be accessed free of charge through the AWS portal and through extensions for development environments such as VS Code, Cursor and Kiro, in addition to integration with Claude Code.
Among the features announced are the initial configuration of identity and access services (IAM), architectural recommendations based on application code analysis, real-time spending monitoring and guidance for using credits offered by the AWS Activate program.

The company also states that the recommendations are adjusted according to the startup’s development stage, with different guidelines for projects in the MVP phase and expanding operations.
Automated migration
In addition to the startup assistant, AWS introduced new migration functionality supported by AI agents. The resource was developed to automate part of the steps involved in transferring applications and infrastructure from other cloud providers to the company’s platform.
The process begins with sending information about existing infrastructure. From this data, the tool generates a migration plan containing mapping of equivalent services, architecture diagrams, cost estimates and infrastructure models as code in Terraform. Dictionaries and encyclopedias

According to AWS, companies can choose to perform the migration with expert support or use automated resources for tasks such as infrastructure provisioning, data movement, configuration updates and testing.
The company reported that the solution offers support for migrating workloads from Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Kubernetes environments, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases and storage services. According to the company, it is also compatible with the migration of AI applications based on models from Anthropic, Gemini and OpenAI to Amazon Bedrock.
