The South Korean group Monsta X performed on Tuesday night (9), at Espaço Unimed, in São Paulo, and delivered a two and a half hour long show, with several costume changes, performances and live vocals that enchanted the audience.
The presentation is part of the world tour “The X: Nexus”, which visited countries in Asia, North America and Latin America. This is the second time they have come to Brazil, seven years after their last show in the country, which took place in 2019, in the same location.
Hyungwon, Shownu, Joohoney, Kihyun and Minhyuk took a chance on Portuguese and were delighted with the Brazilian fans, who joined in the chorus of “I’m not going away” and made one of them promise to use the audio in his next song.

“I think someday you’ll be on Joohoney’s album,” said Minnhyuk, after the rapper used his cell phone to record audio from the audience.
With a show divided between energetic songs, slower songs and individual performances by the members, Monsta X proved that their 11-year career was achieved with effort, talent and a great diversity of musical styles in their productions.
Among them, the hit “Do What I Want”, performed twice by the group, which made a point of remembering that the song has a strong . Fans, of course, didn’t stop singing the Portuguese verses included in the beat.
IM — member of the group who was not present because he is fulfilling in South Korea — was not forgotten by the public, who took a cardboard of the singer to the event. The group joined the game and placed the object on the stage with the other members.
Full of ornaments with the colors of Brazil, carried by the Monbebes (name of the fandom), the members thanked the fans for their affection at the end of the performance. Rapper Joohoney even said that this was “the best show in the history of Monsta X”, driving the audience crazy.
Other hits such as “Hero”, “Dramarama”, “Shoot Out” and “Alligator” made up the group’s setlist, which also included tracks from the album “The X”, released at the end of last year.
