Monsta X speaks Portuguese and moves the audience during a show in São Paulo

The South Korean group Monsta X performed on Tuesday night (9), at Espaço Unimed, in São Paulo, and delivered a two and a half hour long show, with several costume changes, performances and live vocals that enchanted the audience.

The presentation is part of the world tour “The X: Nexus”, which visited countries in Asia, North America and Latin America. This is the second time they have come to Brazil, seven years after their last show in the country, which took place in 2019, in the same location.

Hyungwon, Shownu, Joohoney, Kihyun and Minhyuk took a chance on Portuguese and were delighted with the Brazilian fans, who joined in the chorus of “I’m not going away” and made one of them promise to use the audio in his next song.

“I think someday you’ll be on Joohoney’s album,” said Minnhyuk, after the rapper used his cell phone to record audio from the audience.

With a show divided between energetic songs, slower songs and individual performances by the members, Monsta X proved that their 11-year career was achieved with effort, talent and a great diversity of musical styles in their productions.

Among them, the hit “Do What I Want”, performed twice by the group, which made a point of remembering that the song has a strong . Fans, of course, didn’t stop singing the Portuguese verses included in the beat.

Other hits such as “Hero”, “Dramarama”, “Shoot Out” and “Alligator” made up the group’s setlist, which also included tracks from the album “The X”, released at the end of last year.
