Millie Bobby Brown Defends Husband: “I Can Carry My Own Stuff”

The actress Millie Bobby Brown22, came to her husband’s defense, Jake Bongiovi24, during his participation in the podcast “Not Gonna Lie”, released this Thursday (11).

She responded to criticism from internet users who attacked the model for her stance on family outings. Fans noticed that Bongiovi didn’t help Millie carrying suitcases, nor pushing the baby stroller during a recent appearance by the couple.

“At what point do you have to carry your own suitcases, baby seats and things like that”, asked the actress.

During her participation in the podcast she also emphasized: “This all came about because I showed up carrying my suitcases, purses and my daughter, and people keep saying: ‘Your husband doesn’t hold a single thing’. It’s because I’m three kilometers in front of him. I’ve already planned all of this since the day before,” she revealed.

She even pointed out how contradictory these are. “We keep talking about female empowerment. Like, ‘You can do it, you don’t need a man’. But when I’m like, ‘Okay, I can carry my own stuff,’ people are like, ‘Where’s your husband?’. I can do this on my own,” she said.

During the interview, the actress made a point of . “My husband is the most polite, sweet one who will do anything for me. But he also knows that I am capable. I am not disabled,” she added.
