Rome/Washington/Brussels – Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani has described US President Donald Trump’s sharp attacks on Italy as an “incomprehensible insult” and speculated about possible backgrounds. “That’s incomprehensible, maybe it’s a diversionary tactic. We had to react to it,” Tajani told the TV station Rete 4 on Monday evening.
