DUBAI, Jun 23 (Reuters) – Iran’s main negotiator, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, said that Tehran has agreed to establish a line of communication regarding the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, in order to avoid conflicts and incidents in the strategic waterway.
Speaking to state TV upon returning from negotiations with the US in Switzerland that took place on Sunday, the Iranian negotiator added that the signing of the agreement for the release of US$12 billion in frozen Iranian assets was finalized in the negotiations.
