The President of the United States, Donald Trump, confirmed the air strikes carried out by the American military against Iranian targets this Saturday.
In a publication in Truth Social, the Republican reported that US aircraft hit Iranian missile and drone storage sites, as well as coastal radars. According to him, the offensive was a response to the “violation” of the ceasefire agreement by the Persian country.
Trump also warned that there may come a point when the US can no longer be “reasonable” with the Iranians and will be forced to “complete the job” militarily. “If this happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist,” he warned.
Tensions in the region gained momentum again last Thursday, when Iran attacked a Singapore-flagged vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
