Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) is scheduled to meet this Monday (29) with the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, at the official residence of the presidency, Quinta de Olivos. The pre-candidate for Palácio do Planalto fulfills a series of agendas in the neighboring country.
This Sunday (28), Flávio spoke at the opening of the Latin America Chairmen’s Conference, an event for the global Jewish community, in Buenos Aires, and praised the Argentine president.
The presidential candidate highlighted the recent victories of the right in South America, such as in Peru and Colombia, and said that Brazilians are “envious” of their South American neighbors.

“We, Brazilians, look at this map today with a little envy. Because while our neighbors, one by one, choose freedom and order, Brazil is still stuck in the past. We are the missing piece on this map. And I’m here to say, bluntly: in October, that changes,” said Flávio Bolsonaro.
The son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) criticized the economic measures of the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and stated that Brazil will once again be “Argentina’s brother”.
“While President Milei put order in the house, Lula disordered ours,” said the senator, criticizing the levels of interest rates on credit cards in the Brazilian market.
“I want to finish by saying something I said last week, at the March for Jesus: from 2027, Brazil will once again become more of a brother to Argentina than ever before,” he said.
Lula is anti-Semitic, accuses Flávio
In a pre-campaign tone and targeting the 2026 presidential election, the senator criticized the current conduct of foreign policy and public security in Brazil, projecting an ideological turn in the event of victory at the polls in October.

The senator repudiated the official position of the Brazilian government in international forums regarding the conflict in the Gaza Strip: “There he said a sentence that I want to repeat loudly and clearly, because I speak with conviction: Lula is anti-Semitic.”
“On my first day as president, I will withdraw Brazil’s credentials and ambassador in Tehran, and reestablish Israel’s new ambassador in Brasília. In 2027, Brazil will not only have an ambassador to Israel again, but will take the step of moving its embassy to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem,” he said.
