Trump wants to avert sentencing via the Supreme Court

Washington/New York – US President-elect Donald Trump has turned to the US Supreme Court to avert the sentence against him in the New York hush money trial. Trump’s lawyers sent an urgent application to the Supreme Court, according to a court document. Trump had previously failed with a corresponding request at an appeals court.
