The prices of Christmas sweets shocked the Czech Republic: Somewhere they rose by 130 percent! And look how much butter costs

We are here in a few weeks Christmas holidays and food prices raise the pressure not only for Slovaks, but also for shoppers in the neighboring Czech Republic. The editors went to several stores to show how they currently look prizes of Christmas collections, chocolate figures or important ingredients for baking.

According to the Czech media the price of individual items somewhere increased by an incredible 130 percent!

The editors were most surprised by the prices of chocolates, which are mostly given to children on St. Nicholas Day or at the beginning of December in the form of advent calendars. One of them from the Kinder brand costs 649 crowns (almost 26 euros), and another called Kinder and Friends costs even 799 crowns (more than 31 euros).

The milk collection from Orion will then be sold in Tesco for 629 CZK (about 25 euros) for 700 gramshowever, they add that with the customer price, the set of chocolate figures cost four hundred (about €16). The Albert chain was also supposed to come with the same full price. In it, two years ago, a collection was published for 270 crowns (10.7 euros). So it is an increase in price by an incredible 130 percent.

Higher prices compared to last year also apply to cooking chocolate, which costs 79 crowns for 180 grams (3.13 eur) i butter. In the Czech Republic, customers can buy this at a discount for approximately 64 crowns (2.55 euros), but you can usually get it for 11 crowns (0.44 cents) more expensive.
