The III Regional Seminar “New challenges in combating human trafficking” will be held on November 13th, at 10am, in the Séc City Hall Auditorium. XXI, in Lagos.

The seminar will aim to discuss topics related to the topic of Human Trafficking, with the presence of speakers in the following panels: Good Practices and Investment for the future – “Breaking False Promises – truths that no one tells” and “Migration Flows in the world current situation and its perspective in the eyes of society: actions and strategies for the future”.

is a worldwide phenomenon, which violates Human Rights and affects millions of people around the world, prohibited by the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, as an expression of inviolability, human dignity, a fundamental constitutional principle of member states and present in international human rights instruments, such as the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights.

EME TSH Algarve carries out its work in the following activities: assistance to presumed victims of TSH, including telephone support lines (24 hours); technical support in the processes of signaling, identifying and integrating TSH victims, as well as at other levels that are directly or indirectly related to the phenomenon; and (information) actions about TSH suitable for any type of target population.

EME Algarve has a diverse team that intervenes in the process of signaling, identifying and assisting victims.

The seminar is promoted by EME TSH Algarve and APF Algarve, in partnership with the Municipality of Lagos.
