Mario Frias says movie I’m still here is a “psychological manipulation”

Federal Deputy Mario Frias (PL-SP) stated that the Brazilian film I am still here, nominated for the Oscar, is a “communist misinformation” that is destroying national culture, besides being a “psychological manipulation”.

The statement took place on January 25, at X (former Twitter), four days after the feature film, directed by Walter Salles, was nominated for a prize in three category: best film, best international film and best actress, with Fernanda Torres.
