Federal Deputy Mario Frias (PL-SP) stated that the Brazilian film I am still here, nominated for the Oscar, is a “communist misinformation” that is destroying national culture, besides being a “psychological manipulation”.

“I’m still here” is an adaptation of the book of the same name written by Marcelo Rubens Paiva, known as “Happy Year old” – sales success in the 1980s.
